SUMMARY:Level 3: Wheel Pottery Class
DESCRIPTION:  \nProgress in your skills throwing pots with Brian Scidmore of Cracked Up Pottery! \nParticipants MUST HAVE TAKEN LEVEL 1 AND 2. Students will refine their skills but will focus on pulling to produce taller objects like cups or vases. \nAll materials (including 5 lbs of clay) are included. \nSession 1:\n-review of basic techniques and tips and techniques for widening projects\n-wear “play clothes”\n-2 hours \nSession 2:\n-glazing your piece\n-10-45 min\n-date will be set during session 1 but will be within a week of session 1 \nMakerspace\, Pottery Room\n130 N. Seminary St\nMadisonville \,KY \nNo-shows forfeit the class fee. Participants\, that have a conflict and give 24-hour notice\, can get a “rain check” for another class of the same or lesser value to be used within 30 days.

DESCRIPTION:  \nPottery Begineers\, \nWhen completing this 2 hour class\, you will have made 2 items.  Those items will have to set and dry for several days\, then someone from Makerspace will fire those in the kiln.  At that time\, you can come back and glaze your items.  Mean while\, you may come back during open hours and practice.  We encourage you to come back several times before you join the next level of classes.  The only additional cost would be to purchase clay in amounts of 5 pounds for $10.  We want you to feel comfortable going to the next level.  We welcome you to attend Open Studio.
